Micro-surfacing of Joplin streets continues

The micro-surfacing of city streets is slated to continue this week.

The City of Joplin reminds residents to watch for door hangers to see if their street is listed for service that week.

Unfavorable weather could delay the surfacing, so the schedule may change.Notices will be hung on residents’ doors in advance of work on their streets.

Residents are asked to move any vehicles off the road that is to be micro-surfaced on the day of construction.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the work area.
