Candidate disqualified!
Gordon (Mark) Bartley, a candidate for the Republican Party nomination for 159th State Representative, has been disqualified for failure to file a Personal Financial Disclosure Statement with the Missouri Ethics Commission by the required deadline of April 21, 2026.
His name will still appear on the Primary Election ballot because the order of disqualification was issued after the statutory deadline for making ballot changes.
Although the candidate has been disqualified, the McDonald County Clerk's Office is still required to tabulate and report any votes cast for him but they will not be counted toward the election outcome.
