Teenager from Pierce City dies in motorcycle-pickup truck crash

A teenager from Pierce City died after a crash involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle Friday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol,  around 9 p.m., 19-year-old Austin Breazzeal was riding his motorcycle on Highway B just west of Purdy.

The wreck took place when he hit the back of a Ford pickup truck driven by 73-year-old Bryce J. Morris of Shell Knob. Morris was not injured.

Breazzeal was pronounced dead at the scene.
