Dunkin’ Donuts to open new location in Carthage
City administrator makes announcement
It’s official: Dunkin’ Donuts is coming to Carthage.
So says Carthage City Administrator, Greg Dagnan:
“A lot of our citizens have noted the construction and all the activity going on at 2424 Fairlawn which is by the original roundabout.
“I can confirm the business owner is locating a Dunkin’ Donuts there.“
Dagnan says for the city of Carthage, it is a “win win situation” across the board.
“There’s actually a lot of growth in the city,” Dagnan says. “A lot of really great things are happening. This just one of the many good things that is happening. Obviously having a recognized business, a brand name that people want to go to, to be a patron of, is a good deal for us.”
The Dunkin’ Donuts encompasses about 8,500 locations in the United States and over 11,000 worldwide.
The nearest location to Carthage is Springfield where three of the stores are located.
The building at 2424 Fairlawn is currently undergoing renovations.
There is no word yet on an opening day for the Carthage location.
