ATV accident seriously injures boys from Hollister

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two juvenile boys were seriously injured in an ATV accident in Taney County Saturday evening.

The accident took place on Historic 165 one mile east of Hollister.

The Patrol says a 16-year-old was operating the ATV when it overturned on him and his 12-year-old male occupant causing serious injuries.

The boys, both from Hollister, were taken to a Springfield Hospital.

On Saturday morning , a 61-year-old man from Vernon County, Mark D. White, was killed when his ATV overturned on him near Eldorado Springs.
