Quapaw Nation Chairman Joseph T. Byrd resigns

The following news release was posted on the Quapaw nation website on Saturday: 

Effective April 15, Chairman Joseph T. Byrd resigned from the Quapaw National Business Committee during the monthly Business Committee meeting.

We will continue to strengthen the Quapaw nation through care of one another and responsible leadership as our nation transitions to the next chapter.

The Quapaw Nation Election Committee will be providing announcements and dates to fill the vacant position in coming Days on the Quapaw Nation website (quapawnation.com) and official nation social media.
