Last week, a man from Kansas City, Missouri who was wanted on a warrant for homicide, was taken into custody by Joplin Police officers.
Now, that man, 31-year-old Jaylen E. McDaniel has been formally charged there by Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker.
The man is charged with second degree murder, armed criminal action, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of a firearm in Jackson County.
McDaniel is accused of fatally shooting Trianna Tisdale on March 13th in a residence in south Kansas City.
Tisdale was taken into custody by Joplin Police officers after a 90-minute-long attempt at 1820 N. St. Charles in the Royal Heights neighborhood of the city.
