Schmitt takes lead in early U.S. Senate polling

A new poll conducted by Remington Research Group on behalf of MOScout shows Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt surging to the lead in the primary race for Missouri’s U.S. Senate Race.

This poll comes on the heels of domestic abuse allegations against former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens, who had been holding a steady lead in prior polls.

The poll also comes just days after former President Donald Trump showed support for Congressman Billy Long, but did not give an official endorsement.

Eric Schmitt: 24%

Eric Greitens: 21%

Vicky Hartzler: 19%

Undecided: 19%

Billy Long: 9%

Mark McCloskey: 5%

Dave Schatz: 3%
