Liberal Missouri man pleads guilty to manslaughter after fatal accident

A man from Liberal, Missouri, has been sentenced to ten years in prison after a fatal accident last February that claimed the life of a woman from Oronogo.

45-year-old Ryan Keith O’Neal plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of 23-year-old Sevie Davison.

The accident happened when O’Neal was reportedly going nearly 30 miles per hour over the speed limit on Highway 43, a couple miles north of the Joplin Regional Airport, when he crossed the center line and hit Davison’s vehicle head-on.
