Stella woman killed in crash on Highway 60 east of Granby

An 88-year-old woman from Stella, Missouri, has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash Monday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Bettie L. Rowe was traveling north on State Highway M, when she failed to yield to a tractor trailer that was traveling east on U.S. Highway 60 a few miles east of Granby.

Rowe was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck, 66-year-old Roger Ozbun, of Purdy, was not injured.

The accident happened around 3:10 PM Monday.
