MoDOT announces project that will take place in Newton and Lawrence Counties next week
The projects will take place between November 29 and December 7
MoDOT announced today several projects that will take place next week.
From Monday, November 29 to Tuesday, December 7, MoDOT crews will be replacing pipes underneath the road.
This project will take place on Missouri Route 37 at four locations between Wentworth and Pierce, according to a news release from MoDOT.
These areas are Lawrence Country Road 225 near Pierce City, Road 1020 West of Pierce City, Route VV east of Wentworth, and Newton county Route J (W. Chestnuts Street) in Wentworth.
As a result, all lanes of Route 37 will be closed during daytime hours where crews are working but they will be open during the night.
No work is planned for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Dec. 3-5.
