Portions of road around I-44 exit closed due to fallen bridge debris
MoDOT is says the situation could take at least one day until it's resolved
Due to a piece of the area bridge falling off, the Main street to I-44 exit has been temporarily closed, according to the Joplin Police Department.
Main Street southbound and I-44 westbound lanes have both been closed.
This is taking place at mile marker 6.
MoDOT has been alerted to the situation and have told us it will take at least a day to fix the issue.
