Missouri lawmaker vying for 4th District congressional seat
(AP) A Republican Missouri House member is entering the race for U.S. Rep. Vicky Hartzler’s seat. Rep. Sara Walsh on Wednesday announced her candidacy. She’s a 42-year-old Ashland resident. Hartzler is running for U.S. Senate, opening up her 4th District congressional seat. Voters first elected Walsh to the state House in 2017. Other candidates eyeing Hartzler’s seat include former Republican state Sen. Ed Emery. Former Republican Boone County Clerk Taylor Burks and Archie, Missouri Democrat Jeff Leathers have also entered the race.
