Missouri DHSS signs order allowing for Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine administration to Missouri individuals under 15

313,000 additional people will now have access to the vaccine

On Wednesday, May 12, Acting Director of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Robert Knodell and Dr. George Turabelidze, State Epidemiologist, signed the order that Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine can be administered for individuals 12 to 15 years of age in the state of Missouri, according to a news release.

This expanded authorization creates vaccine eligibility  for 313,0000 additional individuals

The Pfizer-Biontech Covid-19 vaccine is administered through a two-step process that takes place at least three weeks apart.
