MSSU Health Sciences Family Day April 27

Health Sciences Family Day at Missouri Southern State University will take place on Saturday, April 27 inside the Julio S. León Health Sciences building. Check-in is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., with the event set to run from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Families can introduce their children or grandchildren (ages 5 and up) to the world of healthcare through this family-friendly, interactive event. Kids will have the opportunity to see what it is like to be a patient and a healthcare professional.

Activities will include five different healthcare areas – Respiratory Therapy, the Simulation Center, Radiology, Dental Hygiene and the EMS ambulance simulators – all of which showcase the newest technologies in the School of Health Sciences.
