Man Arrested for Business and Home Burglaries in Joplin

A man gets arrested for the burglary of business and a home in Joplin early yesterday (Sunday 10/14) morning.  Just before 4 on Sunday morning Joplin police responded to an alarm at the Dollar General on 7^th and Jackson and found the front door had been broken. At the same time, Joplin dispatch put out a call for a burglary in progress at a home a half a block away. The residents of the home had called and reported that someone had broken into their back door and was sitting on their couch. 48-year-old john Davis of Purcelll, MO was arrested at the house and thanks to video surveillance at the Dollar General, John has been charged in both cases.
