AMPD searching for man wanted for parole violation

The Aurora-Marionville Police Department is searching for a man who is wanted for parole violation.

Earlier this morning a man who failed to stop for the Aurora-Marionville Police Department crashed his car.

Investigators identified him as Jamie Cook of Aurora.

The Missouri Department of Corrections considers him an absconder.

Police believe Cook is not armed.

If you see him, police say you should not approach but call 911.
