Joplin City Council to meet Monday night

The Joplin City Council meets tonight.

Items on the agenda include of a Review of the Prospect Village Proposal.

That proposal by the Woodsonia group would bring one of the largest mixed use developments in the city’s history to an area to east of the Rangeline business district and south of 20th Street.

The Council will also hear about the “RAISE” Refugee Resettlement Agency in Joplin.

Council members are expected to go into a closed session.

The public meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hall at 602 S. Main Street.
