Senator Blunt Visits Webb City

They blended new with old as they built the new Cardinal scales corporate headquarters and factory expansion in Webb City. The over 30000 square foot building is a testimony for the growth of the business and the economy. US Senator Roy Blunt was at the grand opening today and he echoed that sentiment.

Senator Blunt toured the new building that puts all of the corporate departments in one location in Downtown Webb City and was encouraged by the company’s ability to grow and remain in the community.

The Senator spoke about the great things the country is doing and also spoke about his fight to not have tariffs on steel, stating that he met with President to make sure Missouri businesses were not hurt by the tariffs.

Senator Blunt also commended the USDA for moving their headquarters to the KC area and explained that the new jobs and the proximity to major agriculture industries in KS and Missouri is a major plus for our country.

Cardinal Scales has been in Webb City since 1950 and continues to grow today.
