Traffic tied up on I-44 after coach mishap

Traffic was brought to a near-standstill at around 2:25 on I-44 east of the exit heading west off Range Line Road.

The tie-up happened when one vehicle, a Provost coach, hit a guard rail.

Joplin firefighters and emergency personnel were on the scene.

Traffic was slow for the next 30 minutes and thereafter as emergency personnel addressed the issue.
