Mwangi Named Joplin Assistant Superintendent Of Learning

We learned last month that Stephen Gilbreth was named Joplin High School Principal, and you may have been wondering who would be filling his position as the district’s assistant superintendent of learning. The Joplin School Board made that decision Tuesday night. Sarah Mwangi, the director of educational support and human resources, will fill the vacancy. They will both begin their new positions on July 1st.
