Missouri Southern State University to Close Due to Extreme Weather Conditions

Joplin, MO – January 10, 2025 – Due to hazardous road conditions and extremely low temperatures, Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) will be closed on Friday, January 10, 2025.

The university will transition to an online telework model for faculty and staff. The Board of Governors meeting will take place with a virtual option for participation. The safety of our campus community is our top priority.
