2025 Joplin construction to improve the community

What are the goals for 2025 for the city of Joplin?   

Mayor Keenan Cortez told Newstalk KZRG:   

“We’re going to improve the community appearance, which we’ve done a great job on so far.  We are addressing declining neighborhoods. We’ve worked on that a lot too, but we still have a lot of work to do.   Increase economic opportunities for all.   We’re building a new industrial park, which is going to bring some new industry to our town, some great jobs and good wages.  We’re continuing to adjourn. Address homelessness, reduce crime and increase safety and create and grow resilient revenue.

The mayor also said there will be lots of construction to improve Joplin this year.
