Man from Baxter Springs held on first-degree murder charge

GROVE, Okla. – A man from Baxter Springs is being held on a charge of first-degree murder in northeastern Oklahoma.

35-year-old Adam Levi Cole is being held without bond in the Delaware County jail in connection with the death of 32-year-old Jared Beach.

Beach reportedly died of gunshot wounds.

The shooting took place in the Holiday Shores area west of Grove.

Beach and Cole were friends and an argument reportedly lead to the shooting.
