Missing Person Found Following High Speed Car Chase
A high speed chase, spike strips, and a missing person found. It was a crazy night for Webb City Police. Just before 10 o’clock Wednesday night, an officer attempted to pull over an SUV that was registered to a missing person from Joplin. The driver, later identified as 24-year-old Alexis Dombroski of Webb City, fled and led police on a chase south into Joplin, then northbound back into Webb City into Oronogo. Oronogo Police deployed spike strips, disabling the vehicle. Dombroski fled on foot, but was quickly caught by officers.
Inside the car was 25-year-old Lance Bethel of Joplin. He was reported missing on March 6th. He hadn’t been seen since February 12th. He along with another male passenger were released at the scene without any charges.
Dombroski was arrested on multiple warrants:

An additional new charge of Felony Resisting Arrest is pending against Dombroski with the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office.
