Joplin City Council to discuss fall 2024 capital improvement projects

The Joplin City Council is meeting on Monday, October 7th for their regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 PM.

Items to be discussed include an update on capital improvement projects for fall 2024, an ordinance updating school zone speed limits to account for the closure of some schools and the construction of Dover Elementary, and the demolition of a dangerous structure located on Picher Ave.

This council meeting is being held on the 5th floor of Joplin City Hall located at 602 S. Main St. and is open to the public.
