NEO Development Foundation announces Sidney Morgan Memorial Scholarship

The Development Foundation at Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College (NEO) announces the establishment of dedicated learner and educator, Sidney Morgan.

Morgan earned her associate degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from NEO A&M College, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, and a master’s degree in education from Pittsburg State University.

She was a lifelong Norseman, devoting 21 years of her career to educating others as an instructor at NEO A&M College and later as a Clinical Coordinator for the NEO Physical Therapy Assistant Program.

Morgan lived in Stillwater following her retirement. She died on August 20th of this year.

To be considered for the Sidney Morgan Memorial Scholarship, applicants must be admitted to the NEO A&M College Physical Therapy Program and complete the foundation’s scholarship application. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need, have strong scholarship aptitude, and exhibit notable academic achievement.

Sidney Morgan’s legacy through this endowed fund will significantly impact the lives of students at NEO A&M College, providing them with the financial assistance necessary to pursue their academic and career goals as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
