Missourians encouraged to review their life insurance coverage
Missouri’s Department of Commerce and Insurance says the number of consumers owning life insurance is down over ten-percent from 2011.
According to the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association, the bottom line comes down to the cost.
Chlora Lindley-Myers, Director for Missouri’s Department of Commerce and Insurance says that Missourians are encouraged to review their life insurance coverage.
She says more education can help residents understand the importance and its role in helping protect their families.
According to Lindley-Meyers, life insurance provides support and helps families avoid some monetary burdens that can come with a loved one’s death.
