Joplin City Council to meet Tuesday night; Grand Falls Trail Project on agenda
The Joplin City Council will meet a Tuesday night this week – a day later than usual due to the Labor Day Holiday.
Among items on the agenda will be finalization of a Grand Falls Trail Project. The hiking, walking, nature, bicycle trail will be approximately 1.2 miles along scenic Grand Falls and will be ADA compliant with hard-surfaced construction.
Also on the agenda is a measure authorizing state funds to be used by the city to help operate the Metro Area Public Transit System (MAPS).
The meeting also will include a closed session.
The public meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers at 602 S. Main.
