Pittsburg KS schools needing bus drivers

There is a shortage of school bus drivers in parts of the area.

Pittsburg Community Schools USD 250 Chief Operations Officer, Tom Stegman, tells Newstalk KZRG that Pittsburg KS schools are currently in need of about 5 or 6 drivers, including daily route and substitute drivers in case of illness.

Stegman said:  “To apply for the positions, they can do a couple of things. Number one, they can go to our USD 250 website.  On the website, you’ll see on the right hand corner, a place that says careers.  Click on careers and they will follow you through there. You could also call the transportation department at 620-235-3190 and ask for Vince Johnston. He is our transportation director and he can assist and help a person through the process as well.”
