Paint the Town Red hits Pittsburg, Kansas

Pittsburg State alumni and area residents, it’s that time of year again!

Pittsburg, Kansas, residents are encouraged to show school spirit by participating in Paint the Town Red Week.

Throughout the week, business store fronts as well as neighborhoods in the community will be decorated in support of Pittsburg State University and Gorilla nation.

The Paint the Town Red Community Block Party and PSU Pep Rally will be held on Friday, August 30th from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. in downtown Pittsburg on Fourth through Sixth streets.

Paint the Town Red Week culminates with Pittsburg State hosting No. 3 Ferris State on Saturday at Carnie Smith Stadium.
