Quapaw schools suffered storm damage – fall semester start delayed

Quapaw schools suffered damage in last Friday night’s storms.  

According to school officials, the students’ return for the fall semester has been delayed for at least a week.  

The elementary school gym lost a roof.  

Several heating and cooling units were destroyed.  

Other damage include broken bus windows and damage to fencing as well as to the athletic field.
