Missouri gubernatorial candidates to debate next month

The two gubernatorial candidates in Missouri will take part in a debate sponsored by the Missouri Press Association next month.

The Missouri Independent reports that Republican Mike Kehoe and Democrat Crystal Quade have promised to debate on the issues and avoid name-calling.

No firm date for the debate has yet been set.

Both candidates attended the annual Governor’s Ham Breakfast this [Thursday] morning at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia.
