Joplin cold case: Tracy Pickett missing for 32 years

August 12, 1992.

Tracy A. Pickett was 14-years-old when she was first reported missing to Joplin Police.

Since then, JPD says they and other agencies have followed up on numerous leads and tips to try and solve
the case.

As the 32nd anniversary of her disappearance arrives, they strongly encourage anyone in the community who has any information to come forward.

She is a white female with blonde hair and green eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighed 115 pounds.

On August 11, 1992, Tracy  spent the night at a friend’s residence in Webb City.

The next morning  she was given a ride by another individual who claims Tracy was dropped off safely near a pawnshop in Joplin.

Tracy has never been heard from again. It is believed Tracy disappeared involuntarily.
