Grove Oklahoma submits new, scaled-down bond issue
Grove Oklahoma submitting a school bond issue for the third time. But some changes have been made.
The one slated for a vote on August 27th is $9.8 million compared to a $129 million dollar bond that was turned down by 56 percent of voters back in April.
The district is no longer asking for big-ticket items as money to build a new junior high school.
The upcoming bond issue aims at replacing roofs, remodeling restrooms and paying off outstanding bills.
