Missouri’s Congressional delegation is sounding off about Thursday night’s presidential debate

Missouri’s Congressional delegation is sounding off about Thursday night’s presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. 

U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt says, “This will end up being the only debate. No way Democrats agree to another one unless it’s with their replacement. When Kamala Harris debates President Trump on September 10th, I hope she’ll be more coherent for the sake of the country.”

Southwest Missouri Republican Congressman Eric Burlison says, “Maybe he should have had some Mountain Dew.”

St. Louis area Congresswoman Ann Wagner says, “We cannot afford four more years of Biden’s blunders.”

In a statement from Biden’s campaign, Jen O’Malley Dillon says Biden presented a positive and winning vision for the future of America.
