Missouri might be doing more business with Italy
Missouri might be doing more business with Italy.
Governor Mike Parson is fresh off a trade mission to the European country, where he met with several companies looking to expand to the United States and buy products.
The governor says businesses especially want to hear about the infrastructure and workforce development priorities that are happening in Missouri.
“Those things matter when you go overseas and you’re trying to sell your state, because those people look to see whether you’re on the move or whether you’re not. And thank goodness for us, we’ve had a little rain this year. Things are going good. We’re in a little better mood as farmers, I would say, so it’s a good day to be selling Missouri agriculture,” says Parson.
Parson says each of his trade missions has resulted in bringing businesses here.
