Protecting yourself from the summer heat
With summer temperatures on the way, the National Weather Service is reminding you of some basic tips to protect yourself from the heat.
While many of these tips may seem to be common sense, they are often forgotten.
Be sure to drink plenty of water and drinks with electrolytes.
If outside, take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
Never leave kids or pets unattended in vehicles.
Apply sunscreen every two hours.
