One car accident injures driver from Noel: Driver charged with Felony DWI, other charges

A traffic accident on Route H, two miles east of Pineville injured a man from Noel around 2:20 Friday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened when an eastbound passenger car driven by 27-year-old Immy Joe Ukau of Pineville, ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Ukau was ticketed for: (1) FELONY DWI (ALCOHOL) INVOLVING INJURY; (2) NO VALID DRIVERS LICENSE; (3) CARELESS AND IMPRUDENT DRIVING INVOLVING CRASH.

Ukau was taken by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
