Accident involving school bus and semi near Halltown

It’s an accident you never want to hear about.

The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a Miller School District bus and a semi on Thursday morning.

Two students, the driver of the school bus and the driver of the semi, all suffered minor injuries.

Troopers responded to the crash on State Highway 96 near Halltown. Investigators say the driver of the school bus was making a left turn onto a farm road when the semi hit it. The bus flipped on its side.

The crash briefly trapped the driver of the semi. Everyone involved in the crash refused treatment.
