Menards in Joplin officially open

The wait is over.

Menards in Joplin is officially open as of Tuesday morning.

Headquartered in the Midwest out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the home improvement chain has opened a store that holds nearly anything you might be looking for. 

Not your average hardware store, the new Menards building, which sits at 3317 S Geneva Ave, has several sections for each Do-It-Yourself-er—two Building Materials and Millwork sections (lumber, roofing materials, siding, shed, deck and fencing materials), Cabinets and Appliances, Paint, Pet and Wildlife, Grocery, Hardware, Plumbing and Housewares, Flooring, Plumbing, Electrical, Automotive, Shelving as well as a pickup area and large indoor/outdoor Garden Center.

The store hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
