KS 2024 Presidential Preference vote instead of caucus
Kansas has moved from a caucus system to a Presidential preference voting system for 2024.
The election will be held on March 19th.
According to the Cherokee County Clerk, Rebecca Brassart: “It’s a Presidential Preference Primary. It takes the place of the caucus, which both parties would normally have, Your voters would go to the polls, so you’re going to vote on either Republican or Democratic ballots after declaring the party you are affiliated with.”
Brassart was on the KZRG Morning News Watch.
