The post-holiday retail rush is on in Missouri.

Many shoppers will be flooding Missouri stores today with their holiday gift returns and to use gift cards. 

Some retailers will also begin offering holiday items at deep discounts, attracting shoppers looking for the post-holiday deals. 

These sales will soon allow retailers to make way for the beloved Valentine’s Day merchandise. 

The National Retail Federation says 70-percent of U.S. shoppers plan to shop after Christmas. 

The retail therapy is expected to die down once the new year rolls around.
