Guns, drugs, and money found after Oklahoma Highway Patrol chase
Following a highspeed chase and an arrest, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol issued the following release on their Facebook page:
A trooper never knows what the result of a traffic stop will be. A recent pursuit by Trooper Ethan Mulkey #201 led to a search warrant and the seizure of a significant amount of guns, drugs, and money.
Trooper Mulkey attempted to pull over a driver for speeding, but the driver fled, leading Trooper Mulkey on a pursuit. Mulkey realized this was a vehicle of interest in several burglaries and thefts on the Muskogee/Okmulgee County line.
The pursuit ended down a dirt road in a heavily wooded area in Muskogee County before the driver came to a stop and was taken into custody. Mulkey secured a search warrant for an outbuilding where they located the illegal contraband and money. The suspect, Jason Cole, was booked into the Okmulgee County jail.
