Carthage High School, Carthage Area UW team up for video campaign project
Carthage, MO – Carthage Area United Way is excited to announce a collaboration with Carthage High School with an initiative that fuses the creative talents of students with the power of community support.
In a unique endeavor, the Digital Media program is set to craft campaign videos for the “Live Here, Give Here” campaign, where the winning advertisement will be determined by the amount of donations it generates.
Students will harness their artistic talents and research abilities to produce compelling campaign videos that underscore the importance of supporting the local community through Carthage Area United Way.
What sets this project apart is that the ultimate winning video will be decided based on the funds it raises showing that every dollar donated is important.
Angie Fewin, Digital Media instructor, stated “The students learned a lot about what United Way is and how it helps our community. It has been a fun project for them to shoot and edit to help United Way.”
These five (5) videos can be viewed on Carthage Area United Ways Facebook page,
Voting will remain open until December 5th at 12pm.
