Cause of fire at Purdy Farm Center under investigation

Fertilizer caught fire Friday evening causing smoke and flame at a farm supply building in Purdy, Missouri

Police evacuated everyone within five blocks of the Purdy Farm Center.

Three firefighters received treatment for minor injuries. Over a dozen agencies responded.

Now there’s another concern: The needs of farmers in Barry County who use the fertilizer during the winter.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
