$92,000 worth of stolen goods located in a Webb City, Missouri home
A months old Jasper County felony stealing incident finally gets closure. Following several arrests Sheriff Randee Kaiser issued the following statement:
On September 10, 2023, Jasper County Deputies responded to a report of stolen property which included a Ford truck, a flatbed trailer, 3 Grasshopper commercial lawnmowers, and over $3,500 in stolen landscaping tools for a total of over $92,588 of property stolen. During the course of the investigation, stolen property was discovered at multiple locations in Jasper County.
On September 11, 2023, Detectives applied for and obtained a search warrant for an address on Eve Road in Webb City Missouri. Upon execution of the search warrant, the majority of the stolen items were recovered at the location with the arrest of Kenneth Pippin, 48, of Webb City. Charges were submitted to the Prosecutors Office for Felony Stealing.
On November 2nd following up on the investigation, two more suspects were identified. Terry E. Ward,62, Of Miami Oklahoma was located in Oklahoma where Jasper County Detectives conducted an interview and have submitted charges against Ward for Felony stealing. The remaining suspect, Christopher Cody Gordon,36, of Webb City was contacted and arrested with charges submitted to the Prosecutors Office for Felony Stealing.
During the course of this investigation, all suspects involved were able to be identified and arrested, or have charges submitted. A total of approximately $91,398.00 of stolen property was able to be located and returned to the victim of this crime. All suspects in this case are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
