Cooler weather is beginning to settle in.
The weather outside is getting colder and forecasters are eyeing up when Missourians could expect the first freeze in your neck of the woods.
According to the National Weather Service in Kansas City, a majority of Missouri could expect to see their first freeze sometime after Oct. 21, based on seasonal averages.
Some pockets of central, northern, and southern Missouri should be seeing theirs sometime soon.
Some parts of southeast Missouri are expected to see their first freeze after Nov. 1.
Forecasters are saying that even though they base their predictions on seasonal averages, some locations are already late on getting their first freeze.
