Two injured in motorcycle accident south of Redings Mill
Two people were seriously injured in an accident around 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon on Missouri Route 43, about 3 miles south of Redings Mill in Newton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a southbound Harley Davidson driven by 53-year-old James R. Ward of Seneca went out of control and overturned.
He was ejected from the bike, as was his passenger, 47-year-old Aime M Alverson of Seneca.
The Patrol says they weren’t wearing safety helmets.
Both were seriously injured.
They were taken by EMS to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
