Single vehicle accident on Missouri 96 injures Carthage woman

A crash on Missouri 96 five miles east of Carthage around 11:30 this morning resulted in injuries to a woman from that community.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a car driven by 37-year-old Amber L. Gilmore was traveling eastbound when it crossed the centerline, traveled off the road and struck two parked cars.

Gilmore suffered moderate injuries.

She was transported to a Joplin hospital.

Neither of the parked cars were occupied and no one else was injured.
